- Carlene was a friend, one of my patrons in my beauty shop, and had the best produce stand around. I remember her every time I decorate my Christmas tree with the ornament she brought me when she visited the Holy Land. She was always thoughtful and kind. She loved those Cubs.
- Sending our condolences to the Family for a wonderful lady who obviously lived a full life. I will always remember visiting the produce stand and their delicious sweet corn!

- Dear Family,. I was a classmate at Notre Dame, class of 40 with Carlene. We had great time then.
Not many of us left as I am close to 101.
May God grant Carlene peace on her journey home.
