Howard P. Muder

Howard P. Muder age 92, of Quincy, formerly of Liberty, died on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 2:37 a.m. in Good Samaritan Home. Howard was born in Quincy on June 29, 1927, the son of Albert and Florine (Wilkey) Muder. He married Mary Margaret Walker on November 4, 1950 in Liberty's Zion Lutheran Church and she preceded him in death on August 23, 2014.

Howard was a graduate of Liberty High School. He was a lifelong farmer. Howard was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He had served on the Church Council, the Xander Cemetery Board and he was a member of the Farm Bureau. Farming was his life, but when he could he liked to go fishing, play cards, and travel with his wife Mary.

Survivors include:
FIVE CHILDREN: Kent Muder and his wife Becky of Twin Falls, ID; Roseann Locke and her husband Michael of Liberty, William Muder and his wife Kathy of Quincy; James Muder and his wife Melanie of Liberty, and Aaron Muder of Liberty.
THIRTEEN GRANDCHILDREN: Eric Muder; Amy Roberts, Michelle Tournear and her husband Daniel; Adam Locke; Shawn Muder and his wife Heather; Kasey Brockunier and her husband Travis; Nathan Muder and his wife Jera; Mandy Milhauser and her husband Michael; Tracy Goings; Christopher Muder; Melissa Elcollazo and her husband Rick; Nikki Skirvin and her husband Andy and Austin Muder.
25 Great Grandchildren; many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two grandchildren, David and Beth Muder, and a great-grandson, Ty Muder.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church, Liberty. Interment will be in Xander Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church.
