Kathleen M. Lynn

Kathleen M. Lynn, age 62, of Quincy, died on Friday, May 28, 2021 in her home. She was born on July 22, 1958 in Quincy the daughter of Leo J. and Rosemary (Loper) Lynn. Kathleen was a speech pathologist for many years throughout the Illinois and Missouri area. She graduated cum laude with a Masters Degree from Western Illinois University. Her greatest passion was her work with the elderly in nursing homes.

Kathleen was a kind and generous person who never met a stranger. She was of the Catholic faith. Kathleen collected and cared for many 'strays' over the years. She had a great love of animals, especially her beloved canine companions, 'Ese' & 'Chile'.

Kathleen is survived by:
THREE SIBLINGS: Rose Hamann (Ron) of Quincy; Daniel Lynn (Nancy) of Chicago, IL; and Eileen Lynn of Quincy.
HER LONG TIME COMPANION: Ronnie Ronquillo of Quincy
A SISTER-IN-LAW: Charlene Lynn also of Quincy.
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and a brother John Lynn.

A Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday evening, June 3, 2021, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Woodland Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
