Shirley A. Nagel

Shirley A. Nagel, age 74, of Quincy, died on Friday, May 3, 2019 in her home. She was born on August 22, 1944 in Quincy, IL, the daughter of Melvin and Carrie (Campbell) Zanger. Shirley was an administrative assistant at Gardner Denver for more than 36 years. She was a member of Lifepoint Church. Shirley enjoyed meeting with her Wednesday group at Panera. She also loved spoiling her dog, 'Ginger'.

She is survived by:
ONE DAUGHTER: Cindy Carter of Quincy
SIX GRANDCHILDREN: Ashley Carter, Sarah Carter; Olivia Carter; Sydney; Tayna Kasper; and Keri Himes and her husband James.
ONE GREAT-GRANDCHILD: Leo Miller
Other relatives including a sibling, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter: Sherry Kasper and siblings: Arlene, Gary and Wayne.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until the time of the services at 6:00 p.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society.
