Irene loved spending time with family and always had time for neighbors. She was a member of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church where she assisted sacristans with church linens. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Francis and the Funeral Dinner Ministry. She was involved in many activities with her children, but Scouting was a family passion. Irene's yard contained gardens for flowers and vegetables. Many have shared in her gardening success and bounteous harvests. She was an avid seamstress and crafter. After losing her mobility due to health issues her love of sewing and needlework continued. We have all been blessed with her generosity.

- Jean, Chuck, Sue, Missy, and Jeff,
I think Aunt Irene always had a sewing or craft project in process and was generous in giving those to others. Love my kitchen towels and the oven mitts with matching casserole wrap. She never missed an Arnold family gathering if she could help it. God bless her and all of you.

- Irene was always such a wonderful person. As a young teenager, I babysat for her children. Heaven has gained a new angel.
