Oh yeah extremely shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of vince. I had the pleasure of knowing him in Portland Oregon and cooking many miles with him. He took great pleasure in cooking family meals at the restaurant and I will never forget him. He had a wonderful complex personality and we had a lot of great talks. I can only imagine how much of an absence you must be feeling. We send all of our love and kindness and prayers in this time. May your beautiful memories comfort you he always talked about how much he loved his family and what a strong bond you had. I was very pleased to learn that he went to nursing school and I imagine he was an amazing medical worker.

I knew Vince growing up in Quincy and then got to know him even better as adult. Both nurses and lived in Colorado and biked, hiked enjoyed the snow together. He always had a smile to share and the best sense of humor. I’ll remember his random text messages on my birthday and him trying to convince me to come visit Quincy. He was a lover of his family and friends. And a lover of his life- he left a legacy for sure. Grateful to have been blessed to call him my friend.

Vince was the nicest guy and the ultimate professional at work. He would bring out his patient and give a full and complete report, all while paying close attention to his patient in their first moments of surgical and anesthesia recovery. Then he would return about 10 minutes later to put eyes on them to make sure they were stable and see if the nurses had any questions. He was exceedingly kind and gentle and lovable to everyone he met. What a loss to the medical community, and to mankind in general. Rest in peace, Vince. You are mourned and you are missed.

Jerry and Trudy, just heard today of the passing of our beloved Mountain bike bother, Vince.
Vince, was a valued member of our Mountain Bike Club, TRAILBADGERS, in Kansas city. For a number of years, we rode trail in Kansas City and traveled to Arkansas, Colorado and Utah to have adventures together. Vince was the voice of reason on the trail and a voice to be engorged back at camp. We loved your son and he will be Truely missed. our community is not happy about the passing of Vince BUT. its nice to have an Angle overlooking us as we ride. Thank you for the gift of Vince.
