Glenda S. Goodwin, 74, of Quincy and formerly of Hannibal died Monday, January 9, 2023 at the Illinois Veteran's Home in Quincy.

She was born October 23, 1948 in Quincy, the daughter of Lloyd and Cleo Hurst Laird. She married David Goodwin on June 1, 1968 in Quincy and he survives.

She is also survived by three sisters, Pam (Donald) Dawson, Paula (William) Coleman and Stacey Holly; one brother, Michael Laird; three half-siblings, Ann (Reggie) Gainer, Marie Odeh and Chris McAllister; one stepsister, Stacy and one stepbrother, Craig Laird. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cynthia Laird, in infancy; stepfather, John McAllister and stepmother, Kay Laird.

Mrs. Goodwin was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Quincy where she was active in Straight Arrows. Glenda enjoyed wordbooks and loved spending time in devotion reading her Bible.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Quincy with burial at Greenmount Cemetery. Family will meet friends from 9 to 11 AM Thursday prior to services at the church. Memorials are suggested to Bethel Assembly of God.
