Mildred D. Mason, age 89, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Sunset Nursing Home in Quincy. Mildred was an active and dedicated member of the Camp Point Assembly of God Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.

She enjoyed many past times, although she especially loved gardening and making home cooked meals for her family. She will be lovingly remembered for her kind and giving heart; she helped her loved ones in any way that she could and always found ways to keep the family connected. She adored and took great pride in her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were her greatest treasures.

Mildred was always on the go and she thoroughly enjoyed visiting with everyone she met.

Left to cherish Mildred's memory is her daughter, whom she was very close with and who loved her dearly, Sandra Kay (Bruce) Faulconer of Clayton, Illinois; two granddaughters: Crystal (Randy) Cybulski of Oswego, Illinois, Tonya (Troy) Wiseman of Payson, Illinois; eight great-grandchildren: Jordan Jansen, Randy (Kasia) Cybulski, Alexandra Cybulski, Andrew (Kyla) Wiseman, Alex (Kelcee) Wiseman, Abram (Alyssa) Wiseman, Ashley (Carter) Epperson, and Audrey (Johnny) Benz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Michael Dewayne Mason in infancy; siblings: Hazel Grosch, Nettie Mewes, Homer Jackson, Aldo Jackson, Albert Jackson, Ronald Jackson and Kenneth Jackson in infancy.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 18, 2021 at the Greenmount Cemetery in Quincy, Rev. Andrew Wiseman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home, 823 Broadway Street, Quincy, Illinois 62301.
