Carlene grew up in Adams County and was a graduate of St. Francis Grade School in Quincy.
Carlene was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who spent her life caring for her husband, home and children. She always had a ready smile for all those she met. She was a shining example of grace dignity and charity. I never saw an unkind act or thought from her. She was an absolute joy to spend time with and is now a blessing as a guardian angel for her family. My parents Rita and Joe Goerlich spent countless hours vacationing and partying with her and Uncle Tom. I can hear all their infectious laughter as I write this and am brought to tears with joyful memories! Bless you and your family Uncle Tom and our deepest sympathies from the entire family of Joe and Rita Goerlich.
