Joan A. Ramos
Joan A. Ramos, age 79, of Quincy, formerly of Queens, New York, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 in her home. Born May 12, 1940 in Queens, New York, Joan was the daughter of Geraldo and Angelina (Disabato) LaMucio. She married Manuel Ramos on November 3, 1958 in Queens, New York. He survives.
Joan was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, watching the Hallmark Channel and religiously watching Law & Order SVU. Most of all, Joan was a devoted homemaker who cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by her daughter, Christine Sciallo (John) of Quincy; four grandchildren, Davina, Tiffany, Angela and Frank; fourteen grandchildren; four siblings, Peter, Sandra, Gerard and Carol.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents; her son Anthony Ramos and a sister Rita Mazzilli.
Cremation rites will have been accorded to Joan. No formal services are planned at this time.
Arrangements are in the care of the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.

- to my dear Aunt , sister, sister-in-law and great aunt Joanie. We are so heart broken for the loss of one of the greatest part of our family. We know that she is with Anthony her son, her sister Rita and Nanny and Pop her parents, she is good company and is in a better place and not in any pain. all our love and prayers got to Manny, Christine ,John and all the four grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and the rest of us that will miss her more than word could describe.
