Known you most of my entire life, you always made others and myself smile with jokes and humor but doing so so that no one would see your pain and hurt. You where and have always been a dear friend of mine, I regret that I will not be able to go to my first comicon with the only person who convinced me to go. You never where a veteran but you took care of and loved every veteran you came in contact with that makes you priceless. We graduated with over 500 and in some way shape or form you touched us and had an affect on each of us directly or indirectly. I wish I could be a Doctor Who and go back in time and remind you how important you are and that I and many others loved you and you matter to us. I wish I could go back in time and stop the abuse you took at a young age and the bullies you endured due to you never being confrontational. I wish I could stand by you as you slay those demons that have plagued you for most of your life. I am blessed and honored to have had you as my friend now and forever. I am sorry neither I or others could get to you on time to just tell you that no matter how bad things get you matter to us. Halloween will never be the same, life will have an emptiness now that you took with you and stole from us. Who you are is all that mattered. Adam thanks for your friendship and being strong when others where weak. Thanks for being my friend. I hope you find peace something I know you strived to find for so long. I hope you can take with you the happiness that eluded you for so long. Say hi to our friends and family as they great you. I will see you again one day my friend not today and not anytime soon but one day. Not goodbye Adam never goodbye just see ya when I see ya and help watch over those who have the same demons you did.

My prayers and thoughts to Adam's family, friends, co-workers and veterans of IVHQ.
I will not forget Adam's wit, interesting trivia and his deep down kind soul.
Adam had one of the most difficult professions , direct care nursing . It is a giving profession , one that should be appreciated .
while working at IVHQ I observed Adam give years of service and sometimes endless hours of service . He did it with respect and kindness to the veterans. So sad, a true loss for the veterans and IVHQ. God Bless you Adam , RIP

Its very difficult to stay afloat with a boat so heavy & grey clouds blinding... this is a struggle of soooo many beautiful, wonderful amazing ppl . Blessings of strength & sunshine to the earth . You are such an amazing soul , in everything you did you never wanted anyone to feel sad or blue. You were a wonder uniquely quilted breathe of fresh air. You cared very deeply with passion very kind & caring no matter what kind of stress the work day brought you make the day brighter. It is ppl like you who make this world better !😊 i believe you are at peace , its a strength most dont understand to keep yourself going when you get under clouds that are so dark and heavy. I believe God took your hand & showed you just how amazing your life meant, how many hearts were heavy from missing you and wishing all of this wasnt true. I believe you never even knew the depth of how loved and amazing you are but i know God is showing you all your beautiful truths. You are forever with us in our hearts. Im very thankful to have worked beside you and share smiles 🖤

Adam, I will dearly miss you. You had a heart of gold and loved your work with the residents at the veterans home. I can recall many times that you would bring to my attention one of the residents who needed the support of a chaplain. The Lord did not leave you on this Earth all that long, what the 40 years that he gave you with us were a rich blessing.
