Dwayne P. Crook
Dwayne P. Crook, age 72, of 4529 Harrison St., Quincy, died on Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on July 3, 1943 in Philadelphia, MO, a son of Raymond Philip & Kathleen (Bohon) Crook. He married Amanda M. Wayne on May 17, 1975 in St. Boniface Catholic Church. She survives.
Dwayne was a 1961 graduate of Monroe City High School where he played baseball, basketball and football. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany from 1961 to 1964.
Mr. Crook was a well-known car salesman and dealership manager in Quincy and previously in St. Charles, MO. He retired in 2003 after 35 years in the industry.
In addition to his wife, Amanda, he is survived by his mother, Kathleen Crook of Monroe City, MO; one son, Philip A. Crook and his wife Kolby of Quincy; two sisters, Carolyn (John) Rogers of Excelsior Springs, MO and Sharon (Chuck) Fisher of Payson, IL; an aunt, Nadine St. Clair of Palmyra, MO. Numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond P. Crook, a son, Daniel W. Crook and a sister, Deborah Hall.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Boniface Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday beginning at 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be made to Washington University for Dr. Joel Perlmutter's Research, at the Movement Disorder Center at the Department of Neurology.
