Ginger A. Hasbrouck

Ginger A. Hasbrouck, age 49, of Quincy, IL died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 11:00 p.m. at Blessing Hospital.

Ginger was born November 17, 1966 in Quincy, IL, the daughter of Earl Wayne and Verna Louise Utters and fostered by Marie and Leroy Stirk.

She was employed by the city of Quincy as a 9-1-1 Dispatcher for more than fifteen years. Her favorite times were spent spending time with her grandkids and volunteering at their schools. She also spent a lot of time volunteering for different Special Olympic functions and playing Bingo every Thursday. She was full of life and had so much love and help to give.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, David Scott Hasbrouck, Sr., her siblings: Frank (Karen) Hulett of Golden, IL, Cathy Harvey of Quincy, IL, Vern Utters of Fowler, IL and Penny Mast of Quincy; her children: David Hasbrouck, Jr. (Mary Coker) of Quincy, IL, Staci (JJ) Hughes of Lecanto, FL, Lyssa (Kevin) Rudicil of Belleview, FL and Emily Hasbrouck (Cory Reeves) of Quincy, IL; her grandchildren: Christian (10), Tiffani (8), Kaydence (8), Morgan (7), Paityn (7), Athen (5), Sean (4), Alexander (4), Jeremy (4), Blake (2), Mason (6 months) and Brady (unborn); and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents and foster parents.

As per her wishes, Ginger was cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Christian Church. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the church. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Memorials are suggested to Special Olympics and Early Childhood Program.
