Doris Jean Long age 72, of Quincy, died on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2:25 p.m. in Sunset Home. Doris was born September 5, 1943 in Quincy, IL a daughter of Albert John and Marguerite Ann (Bange) Feldott.

Doris was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish where she was a member of the choir.

She was also a member of the China Guild. Doris loved going to movies and attending Quincy Community Theater productions. Her favorite pastimes were crocheting, art, and enjoying music.

During her time at Sunset Home, and Curtis Creek Retirement Center she truly enjoyed participating in the activities they hosted, and she herself started a prayer group at both residences.

Cheryl, Christie and family,
It is with sadness that I read about Doris. I worked with her at SMH and cared for her after her accident. Enjoyed our SMH Christmas gathering that she always made happen. I will honor her memory when we gather this year.
