Raymond L. Price
Raymond L. Price, age 79, of 2308 Grawe CT., died on Friday, March 24, 2017 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on January 12, 1938 in Quincy, IL the son of Samuel and Evelyn (Martin) Price. Ray graduated from Mendon High School. He married Carol Hahn on October 3, 1961 in Quincy. She survives.
Mr. Price was an Offset Printing Pressman working first at Jost & Keifer. He later worked for Moorman Manufacturing and ADM. Mr. Price also served in the United States Air Force.
Mr. Price was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He volunteered for Quincy Spirit. He was also a volunteer at Timber Point Nursing Home. For some years he was the coordinator for the funeral dinners at Blessed Sacrament. He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans. He participated in Marriage Encounter. Ray also greatly enjoyed garage sales and gardening.

THREE CHILDREN: Sherri Gaus and her husband Kevin of Jacksonville, FL; Carla Schwartz and her husband Glen of Quincy and Greg Price and his wife Kelly of Hollsopple, PA.
SEVEN GRANDCHILDREN: Megan Erler and her husband Brandon; Brandon Gaus and his wife Amy; Austin Schwartz; Allison Schwartz; Jerad Price and his wife Danielle; Ethan Price and Cooper Price.
FOUR GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Caitlin Erler; Caroline Erler, Claire Erler and Sofia Price.
FOUR SISTERS: Bonnie Frederick; Shirley Gooding; Marilyn 'Molly' Rees and her husband Richard and Victoria 'Vicki' Hahn and her husband Kermit.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, and four siblings: Samuel 'Sammy' Price; Marvin Price;
Anna Marie 'Annie' Price and Frances Rita Price in infancy.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:30 in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery with military rites conducted at the cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Spirit.
