LeRoy Elmer Vaughn
LeRoy Elmer Vaughn, age 78, of 5027 Lake Ridge Dr., formerly of 3519 S. 46th Street, Quincy, died on Friday, March 11, 2016 in his home. He was born on July 8, 1937 in Quincy, a son of Elmer & Clara (Donhardt) Vaughn. He married Pat Starr on February 13, 1960 in St. Mary's Catholic Church. She survives.
LeRoy served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1966. Following his service he worked in maintenance and as a machine operator for Motorola and then J.M. Huber. He retired in April of 1999.
LeRoy was a member of Q-City Square Dance Club. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and camping.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, Pat, he is survived by a daughter Debra J. Flavell and her husband Kevin of Center, MO; a brother Ronald Vaughn of Quincy; three grandchildren Kyle, Chloe and Breanne.; and two sisters Helen "Mick" Druffel and Judy (Dave) Lubbert.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, by Rev. Thomas Hagstrom. Private Interment will be at a later date. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Blessing Foundation for Hospice, St. Anthony Catholic Church or to Barnes Jewish Hospital for LVAD Research.
Funeral arrangements are with the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.

We learned of Leroy's death while out of town. Even though we are saddened we know that both he and you have been through a lot over the past several years. We are glad that he was a part of our QHS Class of 1958 and so happy that he and you were able to be a part of our 55 th reunion.
