Patsy Griffin

Patsy Griffin, age 81, of Quincy, died on Sunday, December 31, 2017 in St. Vincent Home. She was born on August 10, 1936 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of John Edgar & Mabel (Davis) Frame. She married Alfred Griffin on December 24, 1953 in Quincy, IL. He survives.

Mrs. Griffin worked at K-Mart. She had also worked at Williams Shooter Supplies and Motorola. She retired in 1989. Patsy was a founding member of the Blue Knights. She was also a member of the Moose Club and the Eagles. She also participated in several bowling leagues throughout the years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by:
THREE CHILDREN: David Griffin of Quincy; Ed Griffin also of Quincy and Terry (Maggie) Griffin of Townsend, GA
DAUGHTER-IN-LAW: Kathy Riggs and her husband Kevin
SON-IN-LAW: John Allen
GRANDCHILDREN: Patricia (Rinaldo) Robinson, Kara (Donny) Baker, Becca Vining, Zoey Griffin, Journey Griffin, Rodney Maynor and Emily Maynor; James 'Eddie' (Chris) Griffin; Jamie (Ryan) Taylor; Mandi (Scott) Harmon; Kenny (Tina) Penzien; David Thron; Sean (Amanda) Griffin, Thomas (Harley) Griffin; Michael Wood; Jason (Melanie) Allen; Stefanie Allen; and Timothy Allen.
20 Great-Grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren
SIBLINGS: John (Pat) Frame; Marilyn Justus; Sally (George) Munn; Judy Lewis and Karen Bowman.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, three children: Steven Griffin, Victoria Allen and Katherine Griffin in infancy and a brother Robert Frame.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Ladies of the Blue Knight.
