Marilyn Wilma Hunter

Marilyn Wilma Hunter age 87, of 2130 Harrison Cottage 39 Quincy, formerly of 412 Carol Drive, Quincy, died on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 7:10 p.m. in Good Samaritan Home. She was born January 12, 1928 in Quincy, a daughter of Bernard and Veronica (Leach) Belker. She married Allen Hunter on June 5th, 1948 in Quincy's St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, he survives.

Marilyn taught kindergarten at St. Rose School, she also had worked as a secretary at Chanen Auto and Niemann Foods and as an administrative assistant at the Board of Education. She graduated from St. Francis Grade School and Notre Dame High School.

Marilyn was a member of the Church of St. Peter. She was also a member of the China Painting Guild, Beta Sigma Phi and the Women's City Club. Marilyn will be remembered as a wonderful friend.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Linda E. Neumann of Rochester, MI; Two grandsons, Chad Michael Neumann of Quincy; Matthew David Neumann and his wife Molly of Rochester Hills, MI; Six great-grandchildren: Blaine, Blake, Kayla, Bailey, Grace and Daniel Neumann.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Loren, Eugene and Edward Belker.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in the Church of St. Peter by the Rev. Roy Bauer. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:30 until the time of services at 1:30 in the Church of St. Peter. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, Adams County Chapter. Arrangements are in care of Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
