Elizabeth J. "Betty" Kelley

Elizabeth J. "Betty" Kelley, age 57, of 1309 North 12th, died on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in her home. She was born on September 26, 1959 in Quincy, the daughter of Robert & Lucille (Schneider) Weiman. She married Richard Kelley on October 1, 1983 in Quincy, IL. He survives.

Betty was a daycare provider, caregiver, and household caretaker for numerous families in the Quincy area. Betty also owned and operated "Uncle Bob's Bar" for some years with her husband Rich.

Betty liked to go to the family's river camp. She also liked to cook for and spend time with her family. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren. Betty also liked sewing and making crafts.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by:
THREE CHILDREN: Adam Kelley and his wife Jeni; Nick Kelley and his wife Jess; and Clint Kelley and his wife Laura.
GRANDCHILDREN: Nick & Connor Kelley; Riley Kelley; Caleb and Walker Kelley,
SISTER: Cathy Shanks
Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives also survive.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents.


Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Cancer Center.
